The National Association of Flamenco Artists is born

Marina Heredia reports in an audio broadcast among the flemish that the National Association of Flamenco Artists is being formed in order to participate in the meetings of the cultural sector with the Ministry of Culture, the first of which is planned for today.

«It’s already underway. We are making it in a hurry, because we want to be present in the negotiations that will take place with the Ministry of Culture, for which the Flemish were not even convened, because we are not organized. There is no association or something that represents us, and in a personal capacity they were not going to call any of us,» explains the Granada singer.

POVEDA, ARCHANGEL, MERCÉ, LINARES, TOMATITO, STAR, YERBABUENA, FARRUQUITO, AMIGO, DORANTES AND ANDRÉS MARÍN ARE ALREADY IN IT

Heredia asegura que ya se han a adherido a la Asociación naciente un buen puñado de figuras del flamenco, como Miguel Poveda, Arcángel, José Mercé, Carmen Linares, Tomatito, Estrella Morente, Vicente Amigo, Eva Yerbabuena, Farruquito, Dorantes o Andrés Marín, entre otros muchos. Y anima a todos los flamencos a unirse a ella: «Creo que es el momento de hacerlo, de unirnos todos y de intentar que de una vez por todas nos tomen en serio, porque ya está bien de que nos ninguneen a los flamencos y de que siempre abusen de nosotros. Y de no estar en manos de políticos que no tienen ni puta idea ni les interesa lo que les estamos contando».
